Our National Officers and senior brothers have gathered in the City of San Fernando Pampanga last 22 February 2015 to discuss the future plans of the organization in improving the structure and services for fellow Eagle Scouts, Scout Citizens and Rizal Awardees.

The National Council, through ESOP National President Chito Morante, SCA, expressed their gratitude on another acknowledgement from the Boy Scouts of the Philippines National Office that each BSP Local Council must have its ESOP local chapters. To spread the news and cooperation among the local BSP Councils and the ESOP National Council, Senior Brother John Vallado, MD spearheaded sending the BSP National Memorandum together with ESOP Forms to each available BSP local council through mail. The ESOP National Council hopes that delivering the memorandum and ESOP forms will assist in the fast organization of local ESOP chapters. One concern raised by the Eagle Council was BSP Councils that already established their local chapters of ESOP, however, they have not yet provided list of officers and membership forms to the ESOP National Council to formally recognize their ESOP Chapter and Officers. The council also planned to have its second ESOP conclave once the number of ESOP local chapters will increase through registration of local ESOP members and formal recognition of BSP local councils’ ESOP Chapter in the ESOP National Council.
Future developments also include having an official ESOP National Council website through commissioning a web developer. The ESOP website is currently monitored by Senior Brother James Pasamonte, SCA and the Agilapilipinas moderator. Having a working official website of ESOP National Council will help in the advocacy of unifying and assisting Eagle Scouts, Scout Citizens and Rizal Awardees under one national Filipino Eagle Scouts organization. Finally, other matters which are of the concerns of the ESOP National Council were also discussed. The strategic planning ended with a small fellowship at a local kapampangan restaurant. We would like to thank Senior Brother Vice Governor Lacbain, SCA for his unwavering support and active participation for the development of ESOP.
